As they continue to innovate and enhance their engineering capabilities, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead teams working on advanced air vehicle platforms, including electric air vehicles, un-crewed air vehicles, and next-generation fighter jets.
Responsibilities as Engineering Manager:
* Lead engineering teams delivering complex system solutions across various project lifecycles.
* Oversee and drive strategic initiatives in engineering areas such as Bid Management, Systems Architecture, Design, Realisation, Test & Evaluation, Configuration Control, and Requirements Management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management and HR to drive innovation and efficiency.
* Manage engineering maturity and governance, ensuring high-quality product development.
* Propose and implement technical and business solutions to enhance engineering processes.
Required Experience:
* Proven experience managing engineering teams to deliver complex projects.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Degree in a STEM subject or Chartered Engineer status.
* Experience working with engineering tools, methodologies, and standards in a regulated industry.
