Main duties of the job You will be a GP for the Wessex Rapid Investigation Service and will have an instrumental role in the running of this service. You will be joining an exciting service, established since 2020, the Wessex Rapid Investigation Service (RIS). This is a regional service which is delivered using a virtual model, to provide a cancer fast track referral route for patients seen in Primary Care with non-specific symptoms. The RIS aims to speed up diagnosis for this typically hard to diagnose group and to improve overall patient experience and you will be working as part of a small.
