Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 12 month fixed term basis.
The Cancer Services Pharmacy team provides an expert support service to the clinical teams. Reporting to the Senior Pharmacy Technician for Chemotherapy and Aseptic Services, you will work closely with the Cancer pharmacists on the ward providing a medicines management service.
You will also be working very closely with our Aseptic Team and Outsourcing Team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and efficient service.
The successful applicant will have post registration experience as a Pharmacy Technician along with excellent organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with the Cancer pharmacists on the ward providing a medicines management service.
You will also be working very closely with our Aseptic Team and Outsourcing Team to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective and efficient service.
