We have a requirement for a pharmacist in Savernake - hours will depend on hourly rate, but we have funding for between around 7.5 to 15 hours per week. Do you have anyone who would be suitable? Rates are around the Band 8a but we can review other charge rates.
The role -
They will be the only pharmacist who attends the ward so they will be reviewing drug charts to ensure safe prescribing, advising the locum GP on the ward and other prescribers regarding clinical and prescribing queries. They will be undertaking meds review and medicines reconciliation, patient counselling etc. I think we need someone who has had clinical ward pharmacy experience previously. The role is very autonomous so they will need to be experienced in their advice.
