We are pleased to be working with our client who is seeking a Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing based in Harpenden on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a long-established and highly regarded solicitors firm with offices across Milton Keynes, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Summary of the Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing role
Salary: £25-35k DOE
Location: Harpenden, 100% office based
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:15pm

Disclaimer: This role is purely suited for a career Paralegal and does not offer a training contract or progression into a Legal Fee Earner/ Solicitor role within teh short to medium term. Candidates with a law degree only and some legal experience will be considered but not those with further qualifications.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing
Obtain title deeds, Land Registry titles and plans.
Prepare Contract documentation.
Progress transactions, keeping all parties up to date.
Prepare completion statements and complete transactions.
Manage all updates to lenders and residual balances.
Managing a sale from start to finish
Requirements for a successful Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing
Previous Residential Conveyancing experience ideally from within a UK law firm.
Experience working within a busy and high-volume role.
Experience of running your own sales files from start to finish in the UK.
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
Professional telephone manner.
High level of accuracy.
Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, case management systems and Land Registry Portals.
