Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent almost a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War; and we’re now excited to be exclusively working on a new game, unlike ANYTHING we’ve done previously!
As a forward thinking and innovative studio we are always looking for new technologies and techniques to develop and use in our games and make them even more engaging experiences for our customers.
We are excited to continue to grow our team and are always on the lookout for highly talented and motivated individuals, who are passionate about gaming and excited to join us on our ambitious journey!
The Role:
We are now looking for a Digital Content Coordinator to play a key role in managing and maintaining our company’s digital resources. The role is initially a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility to be extended or even made permanent.
At Pixel Toys we are committed to ensuring that our digital presence; across our website, social media channels, and intranet, is as welcoming, efficient, and high-quality as our studio environment.
As a Digital Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing our external-facing platforms as well as our internal digital systems. This includes organising and maintaining important resources such as our company website, social media channels and internal tools such as Confluence, Google Drive, and the IT Knowledge Base. Through regularly reviewing and updating content, you will ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with our values.
A significant part of this position will involve developing and maintaining a centralised hub for internal documents and policies, making it easier for staff to access essential information. You will work closely with HR and IT teams in order to enhance onboarding materials, particularly focusing on digital tools and systems. Through creating user-friendly guides, FAQs, and documentation, you will empower staff to find information independently and improve their overall day-to-day experience. In the theme of continuous improvement, you will also gather feedback from team members about these systems so that you can suggest improvements to further streamline processes.
In this position you will also take ownership of our social media strategies to promote company products and enhance brand visibility. By increasing engagement and maintaining a consistent voice across platforms, you will help ensure that our online presence aligns with our values and goals. You will also have the opportunity to assist with the planning and hosting of events, including office influencer days, industry showcases at prestigious venues such as BAFTA and Gamescom, and internal celebrations to foster community and morale. Acting as an internal community manager, you will support these events, celebrate team milestones, and contribute to maintaining a positive workplace culture.
About you:
You will be a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a recent degree or 1–2 years of experience in operations, administration, or a related field. You will be interested and comfortable learning new technologies, and proficiency with digital tools like Google Drive and Confluence is certainly a plus (with training available if needed).
Ultimately your excellent written and verbal skills, a knack for problem-solving, combined with your ability to create clear and accessible content make you the ideal candidate for this role.
