Our client is a trade sales supplier providing products to builders, contractors, house builders, and end users.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to join a small 3-person store in Basingstoke. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the branch, including, but not limited to:
1. Driving sales for the branch
2. Dealing with customer accounts to ensure excellent customer service is provided
3. Keeping stock updated and accurate
4. Merchandising on the shop floor
5. Administration for the running of the branch
6. Health & Safety within the branch
This is a 40-hour working week with the hours set at 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Saturday (day off in the week when working Saturday).
The successful candidate will either be working in a Trade Sales environment at supervisory or management level. This might be someone from a Builders Merchant, Plumbers Merchant, Decorators Merchant, Drainage Merchant, etc., and would like to move up into their first Branch Management role. Alternatively, you may already be a Store Manager or Deputy Store Manager within a retail environment and be interested in moving into a Trade Sales role.
Our client is offering the following package:
1. Basic salary of £32,000
2. Company profit bonus scheme (upon reaching the minimum service threshold)
