Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Gateshead
Shifts: Days (Monday-Sunday: 08:00-20:00) Nights (Monday-Sunday: 20:00 - 08:00)
Pay Rates (including holiday pay): Days £16.81 / Nights £18.91 / Weekends £21.01
As an ‘Outstanding’ CQC-rated care provider, Thornbury Community Services recruits learning disabilities support workers to utilize their skills and expertise to enable our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into the community.
We are looking to recruit learning disability support workers in the North East, with UK-based learning disabilities and/or autism care experience to support a 15-year-old girl. This is a community-based support role.

Role requirements
We are looking for Learning disabilities support workers with a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience who are passionate, resilient, and highly skilled. In order to be considered for this role you must have the following key skills/experience:
* Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions (restraints) in the last two years
* Mental health support work experience
* Learning disabilities & Autism
* Full UK driver's license
* 12 months UK work experience within a relevant role
