About the role
We are looking for tutors to deliver non-accredited and level 1 and 2 City and Guilds Awards in Cycle Mechanics as preparation for work courses. This is a new subject to the college, so there is the opportunity to develop curriculum and facilities in this role.
About you:
You will deliver engaging learning sessions for a range of learner groups and ability levels, ensuring high levels of learner satisfaction with the College and its services. You will also advise line managers of ideas for developing and promoting sessions/courses to increase learner numbers and attract new learner groups.
Where applicable, you will undertake scheduled teaching on qualification provision (on College site and in outreach centres), assessment, educational guidance, preparation of learning materials and assignments, arrangements for examinations, feedback and marking of students’ work, invigilating and marking of examinations, and administration of your own courses.
You will have English and Maths minimum Level 2 qualifications, and a qualification or industry experience in your specialist area.
