About the Senior Purchase Ledger Officer Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Purchase Ledger Officer to manage the purchase ledger accounting duties for a defined portfolio of media clients. This role includes processing invoices, credit card transactions, staff expenses, and payments, among other tasks. Senior Purchase Ledger Officer Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintain supplier and employee ledger accounts. Verify and ensure accuracy of supplier and employee bank details. Monitor relevant AP inboxes. Process purchase ledger invoices and expenses. Prepare draft payment runs for client approval. Load approved payment runs into the client banking system and follow up for authorisation. Process credit card transactions onto the ledger. Provide administrative support to the department. Investigate queries and post journals. Reconcile supplier statements. Essential Skills: A stable career history with Strong purchase ledger experience Fast and accurate data entry skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to learn and develop new systems and processes. Excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally. Proficient in Word and Excel. Experience with Sun, Sage, or Netsuite accounting packages is advantageous.
