Kerensa Ward - Eldercare Specialty
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join the Kerensa Ward at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, a busy care of the elderly ward. The applicant must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and undertake new skills.
Kerensa is a 25 bedded ward. We strive to provide excellent patient care and create effective but safe patient flow throughout the hospital. As a Band 3 joining our Nursing Team you will be expected to work within all areas of our service. We work closely with our medical team of doctors so you must have excellent communication skills.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work or working towards Band 3 level, and recent acute hospital experience would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to progress towards the Associate Nurse qualification.

Healthcare Assistants will work as part of the multidisciplinary team under the supervision of registered nurses.
Participates in the delivery of patient care.
Contributes towards ward/department organisation.
Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment.
