Non-Technical Academy Trainer (Automotive) An exciting opportunity has been created at Toyota GB who are seeking to recruit a Non-Technical Academy Trainer on a full time basis through their partner, AGA Performance, to join the existing team. This will be mainly based in Burgh Heath, however flexibility to travel to deliver regional training sessions is required and this may involve staying away from home. Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Growth opportunities Company perks Safe work environment About the Role: You’ll be working with Toyota, providing both design and delivery across the Toyota and Lexus non-technical curriculum and other projects as required, in line with the SLA and as a result, maximising client satisfaction. Responsibilites of our Non-Technical Academy Trainer role include: Undertaking training delivery of courses (averaging 4 days per week), held at Burgh Heath, Burnaston and occasionally within Centres and other locations Keeping up to-date with Toyota product range, new developments, strategies and priorities Acting as Training Champion, as required for suggesting improvements and necessary updates for specified training sessions/courses Acting as a supportive and positive team player and inputting ideas and suggestions for improved working practices within the Academy As per Kaizen (the Japanese principle of continuous development), inputting any ideas and innovations in order to continuously improve processes, services and team working Designing any course materials requested, following Toyota design principles and templates provided, including comprehensive tutor guides Working on special projects as required Working collaboratively with the Academy administration team as well as other partners working within the Academy Presenting AGA in a positive light and portraying a professional image at all times and with all Stakeholders To self-review and work to continuously improve/enhance individual performance by reviewing evaluation forms, sitting in on other trainers and being observed by Line Manager Demonstrating a positive mindset and problem-solving approach when dealing with any issues Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending meetings and attending relevant courses/conferences and seminars as required Keeping abreast of new technologies and methodologies e.g., of e-learning techniques, research in workplace learning and present this research.
