Key Responsibilities: Conducting technical maintenance and support for engineering projects Assisting in the fabrication, testing, and evaluation of defence-related equipment Ensuring compliance with BPSS SC Security Levels and ITAR regulations Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency Maintaining accurate documentation and reports of technical procedures Managing and operating specialised tooling and equipment as required Job Requirements: Experience as a technician, preferably within the defence or a closely related sector Ability to conduct technical and maintenance tasks onsite Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 desirable Skills: Experience of working within a mechanical environment. Use of SAP, Microsoft Office and Teamcenter are desirable. Weapons background Robust nature as working outside mainly from30deg to -12 deg Strong safety ethic A Team player in small teams Qualifications: Have a recognised Safety and Health Management qualification e.g. IOSH, desirable. Security Level: BPSS SC Subject to ITAR This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction.
