Job Responsibilities:
1. Help lead and manage the day-to-day running of the gym.
2. Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence.
3. Help lead and deliver the commercial performance of the business.
4. Help lead and deliver the operational excellence of the club.
5. Deliver the set KPIs.
6. Help recruit, train, and develop a team and lead them to success.
This role requires a team player with flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy, and determination to help drive and develop the business alongside the General Manager. We're looking for a manager with experience in maintaining and developing standards and reputation, while nurturing a growing membership base and team. Must have experience, ideally in a management position within a leisure-related industry.
Qualifications:
1. Must be passionate about customer service and be an inspirational leader.
2. Must be qualified to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor.
3. Must have experience in driving sales and coordinating local marketing activity, as well as managing a successful team.
4. Ideally will have experience as an Assistant Manager overseeing all business areas within a leisure facility or substantial experience as a Fitness Manager or in a similar operational function.
