Job description - the role
On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Junior Business Manager/Finance Business Manager for a 6 months contract with the possibility of extension based in London (hybrid).

Purpose of the role:
* The Chief Operating Office (COO) team is responsible for the strategy and execution, governance, resource allocation, change management, project management, and control oversight for the CFO Division. You will be supporting the effective current functioning and setting the future direction of the CFO Division.
Key responsibilities
* Annual financial planning and forecasting.
* Headcount management and compensation matters.
* Ensuring CFO Division's governance and adherence to a variety of regulations and procedures via close liaison with control functions.
* Supporting the smooth running of governance bodies, including the provision of management information.
* Defining, implementing, and continuously improving policies, processes, and procedures.
* Managing key initiatives and driving completion of deliverables through the establishment of well-structured and well-governed projects.
* Ability to synthesize relevant business insights/updates for senior management including COO, CFO, and CRO.
* Ability to gain agreement across diverse groups of stakeholders to drive initiatives forward.
* Maintaining relationships with a broad range of internal points of contact from across the CFO Division, other DWS divisions, and control functions, including Compliance, IT, Human Resources, and Facility Management.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to work independently in a demanding environment.
* Capable of liaising with senior stakeholders.
* Qualified Accountant or equivalent qualification.
* Degree in Finance or comparable subject or equivalent experience.
