As a trainee Storeman, you will be primarily responsible for the receipt of goods into the business. In the job, you'll be trained in handling materials using a forklift.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Unloading and loading vehicles/trucks with a forklift truck and warehouse crane.
2. Relocating/moving goods around the premises.
3. Maintaining stock inventory and ordering new stock when required.
4. Assisting the planning department with getting materials/test equipment ready for jobs.
5. Maintaining a clean working area across the premises.
6. Maintaining a log of pumps & generators issued out.
7. Carrying out small maintenance tasks.
About You
Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
1. GCSE and experience working in commercial premises desired.
2. Forklift truck/industrial machinery experience desired.
3. UK Driving License.
4. Ability to work under pressure.
5. Good organization skills.
6. Ability to work well on own initiative and as part of a team.
