Main duties of the job The Endoscopy Booking Coordinator plays a key role in the patients pathway. You will be involved in communicating with patients and their relatives, and both internal and external staff members. There are varying administrative tasks that constitute the role and, following training, it is expected that you will be competent in achieving a wide variety of these tasks independently. Key tasks can include: Communicating with patients via telephone and email.Booking patients in for various procedures.Liaising with clinical teams to ensure correct pathways of care are maintained.General admin such as filing and record keeping.
