We have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month HR Industrial Placement in our Interiors business located in Leighton Buzzard, UK.
JOB SUMMARY
We're seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team for a 12-month adventure. This isn't just a job; it's your chance to level up your HR skills, connect with amazing people, and make a real impact on our organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Experience
* Support initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement, such as employee surveys and recognition programs.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of employee wellness programs.
* Be visible around the Campus helping employees connect with HR and improving working lives.
* Provide administrative support to HR projects and initiatives.
Onboarding
* Assist with onboarding new hires, conducting orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition.
Internal Communications
* Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
* Create engaging content for various channels, such as newsletters, intranet, and email.
* Generate new ideas in support of internal communication campaigns and events.
Learning and Development
* Support the delivery of training programs and workshops on site.
* Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials.
* Track and analyze employee development needs.
HR Projects
* Participate in various HR projects, such as talent management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development.
* Conduct research and analysis to support HR initiatives.
* Contribute to the development of HR goals and deployment plans.
Minimum Requirements
* Educated to degree level with demonstrable experience in Value Stream/Program Management in an Engineering and Manufacturing environment.
* Solid commercial understanding and negotiation capabilities.
* A change agent who can develop teams and drive a positive culture.
* Able to work effectively at both the tactical and strategic levels.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all functions and regions.
* Ability to manage remote teams and interface across multiple time zones.
* Ability to travel up to 40% internationally.
Preferred Requirements
* Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* A passion for HR and a desire to learn and grow.
