The salary for this role is £37,509, and onsite working is expected for 3 days each week, however, we actively support requests for Flexible Working.
Employees of UKIFS can be based at either of our sites; West Burton, Nottinghamshire or Culham, Oxfordshire.
This role requires employees to complete an online Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), including The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks for criminal convictions and possibly a search of open source data.
The Role
As part of the team providing risk support to UKIFS, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the enterprise risk framework. You will provide services to support/coordinate risk programmes, facilitate risk workshops, maintain the Risk Management software (ARM/PIMS), administer risk registers, and conduct risk reviews and data collation/production of reports to management.
Key Accountabilities:
Stakeholder Engagement
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of an overall risk management process within UKIFS.
* Monitor the risk management process including seeking timely updates from Strategic, Tranched and Project risk register owners as part of the many reporting streams.
Reporting
* Responsible for collating and analysing risk data to be reported monthly to the appropriate Group.
* Support the Risk Team with other reporting streams monthly which may include many varied tasks like presenting data, taking minutes, gathering & interpreting data on a strategic level.
* Support updates to the various reporting templates.
Ownership of the Project Risk Space
* Facilitate risk reviews and workshops with little to no supervision.
* Support Project Managers with their risk-based queries.
* Report on the Project risks at the relevant places.
Risk Management Information Software (RMIS) Admin/Support
* Be proficient with the RMIS PIMS and ARM (training can be provided.)
* Assist with migration to new RMIS.
* Train employees in the RMIS.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to degree level or professional qualifications (or willing to work towards) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to enable effective working relationships to be developed with people in a wide range of roles and levels of responsibility.
* Excellent IT skills, including good knowledge of Office 365 and the office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
* Analytical and independent thinking who can confidently express their views, solve problems, and work out what needs to be done and take pride in doing it to conclusion.
* Have strong writing skills and be able to communicate key messages clearly and succinctly to senior leaders, utilising a range of communication methods.
