Smith School, School of Geography and the Environment, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY The Oxford Sustainability Finance Group (OxSFG) is seeking two enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Assistants with a focus on finance and financial analysis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in finance and research, alongside an interest in addressing environmental challenges through scholarship and engagement. As a Research Assistant, you'll play a key role in shaping groundbreaking research at the intersection of finance and environmental sustainability. You’ll independently manage your research and administrative tasks, while collaborating with senior colleagues to develop exciting new projects. With your analytical skills, you’ll dive deep into data—gathering, analysing, and presenting both qualitative and quantitative findings from diverse sources. You’ll explore new methodologies, adapt approaches when challenges arise, and design research materials that drive real-world impact. Your contributions will extend beyond data collection; you’ll be involved in publishing your findings, presenting at conferences, and representing the team at external meetings. You'll be at the heart of an innovative, collaborative environment, where your insights and expertise will be shared with research partners across the globe. Both posts are fixed-term for 12 months and offered on a part-time basis (50% FTE, 18.75 hours).
