CK Group are recruiting for a Strategic Events Coordinator to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, at their site based in Basingstoke. This is a hybrid position, on a contract basis for 12 months.
Salary:
PAYE £26.17 - £34.52 per hour.
Strategic Events Coordinator Role:
1. Develop yearly meeting strategy, based on the organisation's strategic objectives and key business initiatives.
2. Facilitate the alignment of all meeting content and agendas to support organisational goals and priorities.
3. Oversee the end-to-end process of internal meetings, ensuring compliance with local industry codes of practice and Policies and Procedures.
4. Forecast and register meetings in Mercury / Cvent/ CET, in accordance with the Meetings Logistics Lead Times.
5. Develop and manage the budget for internal meetings, including new sales training, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Your Background:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in event planning, meeting coordination, or project management.
3. Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and meeting scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook and Microsoft Teams).
