Description for Internal Candidates Job Purpose Night shift Warehouse Multi Task Operative working any 4 or 5 from 7 days. Reporting to a Team Leader, the individual will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and capability to perform all aspects of warehousing in order to meet all key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations. £14.16 per hour - inclusive of unsocial hours allowance 40 hours per week Key Accountabilities • Ensure conduct and behaviour to be compliant with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines • Work in a team environment • Operate customer & Wincanton IT systems as required • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately • A range of duties to support the operational efficiency and general housekeeping and hygiene standards of the warehouse and site • Undertake all training necessary to fulfil the requirement of flexibility to enable presence within any required areas of the warehouse • To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required for the effective role • Ensure time and attendance within Company set standards • Support and provide training to new and existing employees • Ensure time and attendance within Company set standards • Flexibility - overtime requirements • Ensure that any issues are escalated to management • Carry out operational tasks as requested in order to achieve departmental and site objectives • React to change due to operational and client requirements and carrying out duties in a professional and timely fashion • Ensure the correct handling of all client products is carried out at all stages within the facility • Complete all relevant documentation as required in order to provide a quality service to our client and, therefore, contributing to greater operational efficiency • Be committed to continuous development in line with operational needs, constantly striving for increased efficiency, productivity and growth • Compliance with all Wincanton policies and procedures Competencies • Able to provide and understand the need for a high standard of customer service • A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges • The individual needs to be able to demonstrate attention to detail and an accurate and precise way of working • PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required • Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative • Flexibility is required regarding shift patterns • Possess a positive attitude with a keen and enthusiastic approach • Ability to use IT Systems in accordance with training provided • Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control • Ability to train others to a high standard • Compliance with manual handling procedures What do we offer?
