Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)
Location: HM Prison Gartree
Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)
Shift pattern: 6.5 hours per week on Thursday 11:00 to 17:30
Salary: £4,477.20 or £12.30 per hour
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a Prison. You will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.
Current 3 years of UK address history is mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance.
Please note you must have access to your own transport due to the remoteness of this site.
HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. You will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* Working on the prison wing, distributing orders timely and accurately to each inmate.
* Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison.
* Compliance with prison rules and regulations.

* The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside inmates.
* The ability to work in a role that requires manual handling and heavy lifting.
* Good communication skills at all levels.
* Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance).
