Your Role As an Information Display Assistant,you’ll play an important role and be responsible for monitoring the bus network across Greater Manchester. You’ll look after the installation, preparation and upkeep of printed timetable information at bus stops, shelters and displaying timetables at designated sites in Greater Manchester. You will be able to work flexibly Monday Friday on a rota system for which you will receive 12.5% shift allowance. One week working 7am 3:36pm and one week 10:24am 7pm. This will include one early finish and one late shift from 2pm 9pm. For more info see Job Profile below. Who are we? The Displays Team are currently a team of 6 which form part of the facilities management business area. We look after 12,000 bus stops across Greater Manchester working individually on our own areas as well as working together and supporting the Bee Network. You’ll have the ability to climb a ladder and get in and out a van multiple times per day safely on a highway. In this role you'll also need to use your initiative to plan and manage own workloads to deadlines as well as having a good knowledge of COSHH. What we can offer you A fixed term opportunity until 28th April 2025 with a salary of £24,704 26,029 per annum depending on skills and experience, plus you will receive a shift allowance of 12.5%, this means that as you work on a rota basis, we’ll add an extra12.5% ontoyour total pay for the month.
