Physiotherapist - Shaftesbury Icanho Specialist Community Brain Injury Service We are looking for a creative, reflective and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Shaftesbury Icanho based in Stowmarket Suffolk. Icanho is a non-residential highly specialist community based brain injury service with its base in Stowmarket Suffolk (within 45 minutes drive of Cambridge or Colchester and 20 minutes away from Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds). Icanho s client base is 100% acquired brain injury including stroke. Our clinical work is undertaken as an interdisciplinary team and Occupational Therapy is an integral and valued part of that team. We work with people in our purpose- built centre, which has a large fully equipped gym incorporating a range of state-of-the-art equipment, at our Waveney satellite base, in clients homes and in the community based on need. This role is an excellent development opportunity for someone with an interest in Acquired Brain Injury/Stroke. You will be joining our team of experienced and enthusiastic occupational therapists to deliver to deliver bespoke rehabilitation programmes including support to help people back to work, and will work with experienced specialist physiotherapists to build your skills/knowledge. The service is jointly commissioned by NHS and Suffolk CC run by the national charity Shaftesbury. Our clinical work is undertaken as an interdisciplinary team taking referrals from and having close links with Acutes, regional rehabilitation units and level 2 bed providers, Early Supported Discharge teams and other community organisations and teams.
