ROLE OVERVIEW: The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional organisational abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A full UK driving license is essential, as the role will occasionally require occasional on-site support, including setup and clearing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Coordination & Management: Plan, organise, and oversee construction projects, ensuring seamless execution within budget and timelines. Resource & Cost Planning: Prepare and implement resource allocation to maximise project efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients, to ensure project alignment and smooth delivery. Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring reliable service agreements and cost-effective procurement. Project Meetings & Reporting: Attend and contribute to project meetings, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements and providing updates on progress. Reactive Project Handling: Adapt to planned and unexpected project changes, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards. Commercial Responsibilities: Support project financial efficiency by tracking costs, ensuring accurate budget allocation, and working closely with the accounts team for invoicing and cost coding. On-Site Support: Assist with site setup and clearing as needed, ensuring smooth project execution. Process Compliance: Ensure due diligence in subcontractor engagement and compliance with health and safety regulations. KEY ATTRIBUTES: Construction Project Coordination Experience: Proven background in coordinating construction projects, including managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Project Management & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to manage planned and reactive changes across various projects. Excellent Organisational & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and clear communication with stakeholders at all levels. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and project tracking systems. Confidence & Leadership: Ability to take initiative, work independently, and lead teams to successful project completion. Commercial Awareness: Understanding of project cost plans, budgeting, and financial efficiencies.
