Overview: We are looking for reliable and motivated individual to join our busy CCTV department as a trainee engineer. The candidate will be undertaking a Networking Engineer Level 4 apprenticeship as the skills learnt will transfer directly to their role within the CCTV team. Salary: £18,000 per annum. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Service and maintain public space CCTV Install Public space CCTV Install, configure and troubleshoot wireless solutions from specifications Undertake PAT testing Assist in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software. Support in setting up routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues. Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams. Desirable skills & Personal qualities: Team player Effective communication Good telephone manner Time Management PC literacy Organisational skills Accuracy/attention to detail Ability to work with minimal supervision Essential: Having a full driving licence and your own vehicle is required - as the role involves travelling. Entry Requirements: an A-Level in ICT OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT OR an A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits) You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
