We are looking for a Junior Digital Merchandiser to join our busy Digital team based from our Raunds office in Northamptonshire. This role offers an organised and confident person with excellent attention to detail the opportunity to support the merchandisers.
A full time position based from our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire at least 3 days a week with 2 days home working.
In your role you will:
1. Support the Digital Merchandising team to plan, build and optimise the web journey to drive traffic to Howdens.com and maximise sales and conversion on the web.
2. Review and implement SEO copy.
3. Implement search redirects as required.
4. Provide administrative support including organising folders and content, uploading images and loading documents in the Content Management System.
5. Perform daily/weekly/monthly website checks and provide analysis of web pages using Content Square.
6. Administer the ‘Chat Bot’ service including producing questions and answering queries.
7. Produce video content to support user training for the content management system for archiving and learning.
What we need from you:
1. Ideally some previous experience of working in a commercially focused environment.
2. Experience of using a Content Management, PIM or DAM system.
3. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation; anyone with experience in Google Analytics is advantageous.
4. Excellent MS Excel capability.
5. Strong influencing skills.
6. Results driven and takes pride in delivering to deadlines.
7. A good understanding of SEO best practice and how this translates into requirements for product data.
8. Enthusiastic and motivated to learn and develop.
9. Puts the customer at the heart of everything you do with a right first time mindset.
