To help us build our change capability, accelerate the delivery of our strategic programmes and drive the adoption of unified agile ways of working we’re looking for an enthusiastic Financial Crime Manager to join our team. You’ll support the Senior Financial Crime Manager to provide second line support to AXA UK, AXA Insurance and AXA Health as part of a transversal Regulatory and Compliance function. You’ll manage the operation of sanctions screening controls by AXA UK Compliance and ABS. You’ll promote awareness of financial crime risk, providing advice and support to colleagues. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at your local office with adhoc travel to London for team meetings, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Maintain, implement and develop the Financial Crime framework within the AXA UK Group. Covering anti–money laundering and counter terrorist financing, anti-bribery and corruption, and sanctions. Manage and oversee the review of the matches arising from AXA’s sanction screening and participate in sanctions alert management; including both in-house and processes outsourced to third party providers. Support the Senior UK Financial Crime Manager in the preparation of reporting. Build and maintain relationships within the AXA UK Group first line, to assist in the provision of guidance, support and advice, challenge, and oversight on Financial Crime matters and in respect of the identification and management of their Financial Crime risks. Lead Financial Crime related projects and initiatives. Co-ordinate and undertake any disclosures to law enforcement agencies including responsibility for managing SAR disclosures to the NCA and s.7 requests through the JMLIT. Day to day management and mentoring of Financial Crime Analysts. Excellent knowledge of Financial Crime regulation and legislation. Ability to learn and fully comprehend new topics or complex processes. Positive, engaging outlook with a drive to succeed. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Independent with good organisational skills. Provide support to high volume administrative tasks, e.g. performing and review sanctions matches.
