Role Overview: As an Estimator, you will be a key player in managing the estimation process for long-term planned maintenance contracts. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for long-term planned maintenance projects. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to provide thorough and reliable cost estimates. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and evaluate alternatives. Assess project risks, resource requirements, and project timelines to ensure accurate costing. Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless project delivery and coordination. Contribute to the preparation of tender submissions and ensure they align with client expectations and requirements. Assist in post-tender review processes, including tracking and evaluating project costs throughout the project lifecycle. Key Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, with a focus on long-term planned maintenance projects. Strong understanding of building materials, construction processes, and maintenance operations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. A degree or relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
