Job Description
The production administrator will work closely with the shop floor, to enable the smooth flow of production.
This will include communicating across to the whole business, from shop floor level employees up to higher management, and communicating to external customers and dealing with general enquiries promptly and efficiently.
Duties
1. To understand the basics of the production process
2. To report daily stocks to all third party customers, ensuring discrepancies and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
3. Collating factory work sheets
4. Ensure phones are answered and messages taken, and passed on to the relevant personnel
5. Conduct timely daily production costs, and forward this information out to all relevant parties
6. Be integral in regards stock counts for the site, ensuring these are completed accurately on a daily basis
7. Assist with production worksheets and data as necessary
8. Assist the technical manager with a monthly internal traceability exercise
9. Be available to provide admin support for the technical manager on any un-announced audits the site may be subject to
10. Supporting the production department with general admin duties as required
11. Liaising with staff and helping to organise holidays on a rota
12. Helping departments with the allocation of orders

General:
1. To obey Company Rules & Regulations, based on Ripe Now Ltd statements of employment and any other communications from the Company management

3. To strictly adhere to all company protocols in respect of use of technology and to avoid misuse of the systems

Health And Safety
1. Ensure that, together with other employees, understand their responsibilities under the Health and Safety Policy and management system.
2. Ensure employees are adequately trained to perform the tasks required
3. Employees are made fully aware of all emergency procedures.
4. At all times a safe and healthy environment is maintained, and that all work is carried out in accordance with appropriate statutory regulations and codes of practice which are regarded as the absolute minimum standard.
5. All necessary work equipment is in safe condition and that safe access to and egress from places of work is always maintained.
6. Accidents involving personal injury or ill health or near miss (no personal injury) occurring are reported on the appropriate form, investigated in conjunction with the employees and that remedial action is taken to prevent a recurrence and report to the Operations Manager.
7. Reports are made to the Operations Manager for any major accident, dangerous occurrence or disease to fulfil statutory notification and reporting requirements.
8. Defective work equipment as reported is taken out of use until repaired or replaced.
9. High standards of housekeeping are maintained in work areas.
10. Suitable personal protective equipment is issued, used and maintained by staff and others where necessary.
11. Any Health and Safety matter brought to their attention by an employee or representative of employee safety is dealt with promptly and effectively.
12. Any breach of statutory regulations or unsafe practice, which cannot be dealt with effectively by themselves is brought for the attention of the Operations Manager.
