Location: This role could be based in either Wythall, Edinburgh, London or Telford offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role
The SaaS Technical Change & Release Manager role will provide leadership in relation to change in the Phoenix Group Oracle HCM SaaS environment and OIC interfaces.
You would be joining the People Technology team who play a pivotal role in HR and the organisation. The team are highly engaged and supportive, tracking an 80+ eNPS with a strong shared purpose, with the customer at heart and where everyone is encouraged to be an individual.
Your role will support delivery of an extensive 2025 change portfolio, delivering some of the latest innovations of Oracle HCM. Specifically involved in working closely with change and operational teams, to ensure change is efficiently coordinated across the Phoenix Group Oracle HCM SaaS environment.
The role requires you to be agile and pragmatic, and to rapidly help understand and shape change planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading the coordination of technical change across multiple SaaS development environments, and their routes to production.
2. Active maintenance and effective communication of a cohesive and clearly documented view of technical change across the environment.
3. Development and implementation of ITIL oriented & stakeholder friendly SaaS environment & release management processes.
4. Close partnering with stakeholders; Project & Test managers, HCM consultants, HCM Operational support team, internal IT teams and 3rd parties.
5. Leadership of regular collaborative change forums, ensuring a shared understanding, and to support efficient testing and change deployment.
6. Change conflict arbitrator.
What We’re Looking For
7. Significant experience in developing, creating and managing trusted data to inform reliable planning.
8. Demonstrable understanding of the environment & release management life cycle in SaaS environments.
9. Proven ability to deliver processes and continual improvements to support efficient change delivery.
10. Comprehensive understanding of SaaS security and data handling principles and how these align to promoting secure and compliant change.
11. Experience of working in a highly matrixed organisation, building trusted partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
