As a catering assistant, you will be working in the hospital's busy kitchen as part of a large team to maintain a clean and safe working environment and to assist in the plating up of all patient meals. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions, and possess good communication skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but full training will be given.
