About the Role
We are currently seeking an individual to be based in the south west of the county covering Grantham, Stamford and Bourne areas, responsible for optimising the utilisation of the Lincolnshire Highway Network. This role involves coordinating, inspecting, and enforcing highway works effectively.
This is a full time opportunity in the Street Works and Permitting Team within the Highways department and training will be given to accomplish all tasks required by the role.
The role involves:
* Administrative support to Street Works Officers in the team.
* Data entry of information into our IT systems.
* Assisting with the coordination of highway works under the Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.
* Inspection of highway construction sites to ensure compliance with NRSWA legislation and the Permit Scheme.
* Customer liaison with our internal engineering teams and external utilities.

Hybrid working is a feature of this role. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office alongside the rest of the team each Tuesday. On occasion additional days may be required.
About You
You will be able to communicate with stakeholders effectively and to build collaborative relationships to work towards the corporate vision of achieving more than we can on our own.
It is essential that you hold an ONC/BTEC or A levels or a NRSWA Supervisors qualifications OR have a demonstrable level of knowledge and skill suitable for the role. Candidates with relevant experience, a professional work ethic and good interpersonal skills will also be considered.
Above all else you need to have a positive can do attitude and be passionate about ensuring the Lincolnshire Highways Network delivers for the residents and road users of the county.
Please note this role requires you to be mobile throughout an operational area and therefore a valid driving licence and use of a car is required.
