Pay - £166.32 per day
Working hours – Full time (8:30-3:30)
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity and would you like to be part of a growing school team? One of our client Primary schools in Cardiff are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Primary Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our friendly and motivated team from January 2025.
About the school
The school is near the centre of Cardiff and is a two form. The school are determined to inspire their pupils through delivering a curriculum which is exciting, engaging and provides high quality earning experiences both inside and outside the classroom which fosters a love of learning. The successful teacher will be joining a supportive and welcoming team of teachers and support assistants who work together to ensure pupils achieve their full potential.
Successful Teacher Criteria:
Hard working, ambitious and committed to providing the best education for pupils.
Ideally need experience teaching Foundation phase/ KS1 however this is not essential as the school will accept applicants with experience in KS2.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management.
Great role model and builds positive relationships with children, adults and parents.
Can successfully identify areas for development and improvement.

Requirement Criteria:
An Enhanced DBS Child Only certificate.
Registered to the EWC (Education Workforce Council) – mandatory in Wales.
Proof of Qualified Teacher Status (UK).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
