Clinical Systems Business Change Analyst (EMIS)
NHS AfC: Band 6
Job overview
Are you professional and efficient with an exceptional working knowledge and experience of the EMIS Clinical System, and good attention to detail? Do you enjoy working with data to support business transformation? We are recruiting a Clinical Systems Business Change Analyst to join our dedicated HBLICT Services' Informatics team!
Whether you have a clinical or non-clinical staff background, we’d be interested in hearing from you. Working within the Informatics team you’ll be a part of a team which encourages each other, sharing ideas and knowledge. You will be supported to develop and learn through a wide offer of opportunities across the ICB to help you grow professionally and personally and support you in your career.
If successful you will be using your clinical application expertise and business change skills to enable the delivery and support of all Informatics applications and any associated projects across our supported health customers in Hertfordshire, West Essex, Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Systems Business Change Analyst, specialising in EMIS, you will be critical to our team’s success, using your business change and clinical application skills to support improvement, which will directly impact patient services. You’ll need to be an effective communicator, as you’ll work closely with other teams including clinical and non-clinical staff, to define current service and test ‘to be’ processes. These will then be mapped against the clinical system’s functionality. Through efficient planning, effective engagement and quality outputs, you will create a clear picture of the impact for change across our supported health customers in Hertfordshire, West Essex and Bedfordshire, Luton, and Milton Keynes. As we cover a wide area, you will need to be able to travel between sites.
Working for our organisation

The Informatics team manages IT services in GP Practices, including business change and service support, infrastructure and desktop support, and provides advice and support on investment in discretionary IT systems and services to ICBs and GP Practices in those ICB areas.
We’re recruiting people who enjoy working in a fast-paced, vibrant environment that can help us achieve our aims.
So, if you share our passion for people, have the Clinical Systems skills and experience, and want to make a positive change to their health and health services then please apply or contact for more information.
