We are currently on the lookout for a talented Bodyshop Manager to join our team at Snows Accident Repair Centre, based in Southampton.
Your Day
The Bodyshop Manager oversees the Bodyshop Team and is responsible for the control and management of the workshop to maximise workflow, without compromising the repair quality. The role liaises with all other departments to keep the workshop always flowing. Customer care is most important in this role and must always be the focus.
Your day will include working alongside others in the Bodyshop team:
* Oversee the daily running of the Bodyshop to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
* Manage the team effectively following all appropriate processes set out by Snows.
* Liaise with customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction on their repair work.
* Ensure the work allocation/job cards/quality checks/systems that are operating are fit for purpose and are always up to date.
* Oversee the final quality control measures to ensure the vehicle is repaired to the highest standard and where applicable correct repair/welding methods are used.
* Manage the relationships with subcontractors/estimators/engineers/auditors to ensure the correct level of service is given and received.
* Update the business ensuring effective communication is given out from the Bodyshop on all management systems.
* Responsible for the Health and Safety, Compliance and maintenance of the Bodyshop and Equipment.
* Ensure all relevant training is identified and completed.
* Drive the business forward, develop processes/procedures and attract new business.
* Attend account reviews, draft budgets, and achieve financial targets.
* Report back weekly financial information and projections.
* Invoicing, placing orders and authorising of purchase invoices.
* Liaise effectively with other Departments within Snows.
* Manage manufacturer portals and work closely with our manufacturer partners.

* ATA VDA or Equivalent
* Full Driving Licence
* Industry Experience
* Good Understanding of Financial Reporting
* Problem Solving

Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700 (with half hour for lunch).
