The school supports and educates children and young people with needs associated with Communication and Interaction difficulties linked with medical conditions such as ASC, ADHD and Adverse Childhood Experiences.
They often work with children and young people who have experienced poor mental health and anxiety. It is important that the staff work together to put the best interests of the pupils first. The placement is extremely rewarding, and it is essential that the right candidate is able to develop strong and positive relationships with the students to help them achieve and feel comfortable whilst under their care.

- Hours/Days: Monday-Friday, 8.00am-3.00pm (Term-Time only)

The ideal teaching assistant will have experience working in school settings, ideally will have also already worked with students with social, emotional and mental health challenges. It is important that you are a very empathetic individual who is resilient and able to guide students to achieve to the best of their ability. Students need to feel safe and comfortable within their environment, the right educator will be able to form strong, trust worthy relationships with both staff and students and break down any barriers students have towards learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
