About
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world class organisation as Head of Global Procurement to
align and coordinate all service sites relating to procurement strategies, frameworks, and processes.
The role will primarily focus on the following areas:
* To develop and drive the Global services procurement strategy, standardisation and monitoring of the entire Global Procurement process
* Disciplinary and functional lead of employees in procurement globally
* Coordinate procurement development activities between Divisions & Group Procurement, e.g. governance, digital, supplier development, supplier risk management, etc.
* Build a network between LE procurement managers and maintain strong relationship with them.
* Leading Services Procurement Excellence initiatives
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the approval of global CAPEX applications >50k and global framework agreements up to 5 million
* Responsible for the global approval of new suppliers
* Responsible for global purchasing budget planning
* Responsible for the qualification and further development of employees in procurement
* Developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, lead-time and supplier relationships globally.
* Align with regional/PL leadership (AME, APAC, EMEA) on strategies
* Assessing and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and market fluctuations.
* Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in various countries.
* Upholding ethical standards in procurement practices.
* Monitoring and controlling procurement costs.
* Staying informed about market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments

Education requirements:
* Bachelor´s degree in fields such as Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field is required
Job experience:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in all aspects of global procurement or supply chain management in a multinational, project-driven engineering heavy organisation
* Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
Knowledge requirements (professional, technical, language, safety):
* Fluent in English
* Supply chain knowledge – understand supply chain operations and processes
* Supplier Management Knowledge
* (OTIF, Lead-times, Safety Stocks, MOQ, Supplier
* Assessment, Supplier Contracts, Supplier Quality)
