Applicants should meet the following criteria:
* Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive postgraduate general Physiotherapy experience and relevant specialization.
* Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines, and their implications for practice.
* Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.
* Familiarity with Quality Assurance tools.
* Degree level education or equivalent qualification.
* Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent Level 2 functional skills.
* Experience in inpatient physiotherapy treating orthopaedic and medical patients.
Duties of this role include:
* Managing a clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy assessments and treatments to the highest standards, and promoting excellent patient care within the hospital.
* Providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment for inpatients and outpatients.
* Conducting surgical pre-operative assessments in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Providing clinical guidance to other physiotherapy staff within the team.
* Delivering excellent customer service and fostering a professional, caring environment.
