Senior Governance Business Officer
Location: Sutton, SM1 (some travel to other sites may be required)
Salary: Grade 5/6 FTE £29,578-£33,953, per annum inclusive of London Weighting Allowance; to be worked part-time over half of each week, term-time plus 2 weeks in the school holidays. Actual salary £13,313.30 - £15,120.49.
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Working pattern: 18 hours per week, Term Time only plus 2 weeks in the school holidays. Exact hours per week to be worked flexibly in accordance with the requirements of the role.
The College and Academy Trust is a family of specialist education providers for over 1500 pupils and students from nursery to further education across 14 academies and 8 college centres in London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. Supporting their academies and college, they also operate learning support, such as nursing and therapy, and business support services.
Pupils and students within the College and Academy Trust family have a wide range of learning abilities and additional needs including autistic spectrum disorder; speech, language and communication difficulties; social, emotional and mental health; profound and multiple disabilities; and physical disabilities including multi-sensory impairment and complex health needs.
The Role
They require an experienced, proactive, enthusiastic and diligent senior governance business officer to provide support to the Head of Governance; someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, has extensive experience of taking minutes, prides themselves on accuracy and high standards, understands the importance of confidentiality and is able to work flexibly within a thriving and busy organization.
