To provide trust wide safeguarding expertise and Trust assurances on meeting their safeguarding responsibilities, as detailed in the Safeguarding Accountability and Assurance Framework (SAAF), providing quarterly and annual safeguarding family assurance reports for Clinical Governance, Quality Committee and Board. To monitor the process for: managing safeguarding enquiries; safeguarding adult reviews; domestic homicide cases; high risk cases; and MARAC cases to ensure that they are responded to as quickly as possible in the gathering of rapid review information, chronologies and IMRs, consistent with a thorough and fair process and timely response in mitigating and managing narrative risks and learning and improving quality of care.
