Branch Manager Skipton £45,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary (depending on experience DOE) & Company Car & Bonus Position Overview As an essential member of the branch management team, you will be responsible for driving branch sales, increasing margin, and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the branch. This role is integral to meeting branch budgets and operational targets. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to achieving sales and margin targets while ensuring customers receive strong value propositions. Utilize management data to plan, forecast, and report on sales, costs, and performance, with support from the central management team. Lead the branch team by fostering effective communication, identifying training needs, managing performance, delegating tasks, and ensuring the best use of team resources, while keeping overhead costs under control. Collaborate with the sales team to drive customer growth. Maintain high standards of customer service to drive satisfaction and loyalty. Apply negotiation skills to seize commercial opportunities and drive profitability. Promote a strong health and safety culture within the branch, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Meet manager responsibilities for H&S, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Oversee operational activities, delegating as needed. Transport scheduling and load planning. Stay informed about competitor activities, pricing, and strategies, sharing relevant insights with the team. Participate in meetings and group discussions as required.
