Job Title: M&E Site Supervisor
Location: Middlesbrough (Wynyard)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary: From £45,000 (dependent on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and proactive M&E Site Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile site in Middlesbrough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in critical environments, ideally within data centres or other complex power-based facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage the site team in line with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all site M&E plant, systems, and equipment.
* Maintain compliance with ISO 9002/14001/50001 QHSE standards, including accurate record keeping.
* Identify training needs within the team and ensure completion of training programs.
* Organise and assist with reactive repairs across systems such as BMS, PMS, HVAC, fire systems, generators, and electrical distribution (HV/LV).
* Manage and delegate reactive and planned maintenance tasks, ensuring high service delivery standards.
* Monitor and ensure the completion of all planned preventative maintenance tasks in line with schedules.
* Develop detailed knowledge of the site’s operations and systems.
* Complete HV Authorised Person training within six months and gain approval.
* Carry out HV and LV switching works and write switching schedules for planned and reactive tasks (including out-of-hours work).
* Support the Contract Manager with staffing levels, holiday cover, and absence planning.
* Oversee specialist contractors on-site, including inductions and reviewing service reports.
* Ensure remedial works are quoted, approved, and scheduled as required.
* Manage the client’s change control system and ensure all relevant paperwork is prepared and submitted in advance of high-risk works.
* Use Help Desk and PPM systems to track performance and service delivery.
* Lead monthly scenario testing and manage related documentation.
* Provide cover for the Contract Manager during holidays or training periods.
Accountabilities:
* Reports directly to the Contract Manager.
* Accountable to the Area / Contract Manager and client representatives on a day-to-day basis.
Preferred Experience:
* Strong background in critical environments (data centres or similar).
* Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
* Experience managing teams and subcontractors on live sites.
