Are you passionate about empowering people to rebuild their lives? Join us at Scarborough RACS and be a part of a life-changing team!
Scarborough Resettlement and Community Safety Scheme (RACS) is part of a North Yorkshire-wide initiative service focused on providing housing-related support to high and medium-risk offenders. Working in partnership with The National Probation Service (NPS), we offer a vital community-based support service to help individuals successfully transition to independent living. We believe in second chances and are committed to helping clients rebuild their lives and reduce the risk of reoffending.
As a Housing Support Worker, you'll play a key role in helping clients access safe, stable housing and develop skills for a positive future. Working with clients on a one-to-one basis. Each client you work with has faced unique challenges so your approach will be compassionate, flexible, and tailored to each individual.
If you have ...

2. Good verbal and written communication skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Experience or understanding of working with clients to develop independent living skills and support rehabilitation.
4. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding responsibilities for vulnerable adults, especially those with an offending history.
5. Working knowledge of welfare and housing benefits.
6. Access to a car for work purposes and hold a full current UK driving licence.
