Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development of a dedicated team.
* Ensure effective systems for reporting, monitoring, and maintaining nursery operations.
* Manage occupancy levels, budgets, and financial targets to meet nursery goals.
* Oversee accurate use of the Connect Childcare database system.
* Ensure all extra-curricular activities align with the EYFS requirements.
* Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and optimize staff deployment across the nursery.
* Take full responsibility for safeguarding, child protection, and the well-being of the children.
* Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum in a creative and impactful way.
* Foster strong relationships with external professionals and the Nursery SENDCo team.
* Ensure a safe and compliant recruitment process for all staff members.
* Create weekly rotas and attendance registers to ensure smooth operation.
* Provide clear policies and procedures, ensuring all staff are supported in their roles.
* Promote the physical health and well-being of every child in the nursery.
