About the Role
As an Electrical Vehicle (EV) Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting new product development, vehicle testing, and technical issue resolution. You will be responsible for maintaining the CAUK vehicle fleet, providing training for dealership technicians, and assisting dealerships with troubleshooting and problem-solving. This role also involves working with hazardous voltage systems, requiring a strong understanding of EV technology and safety protocols.
Requirements
* At least two years of technical experience working with electric vehicles (EVs), including hazardous voltage drive and battery systems. This experience may come from working at a vehicle test site, an automotive manufacturer, or a vehicle service centre
* Must be qualified to work on electrical systems, with certification obtained through dealer service training, an independent training provider, or an accredited course
* IMI Level 4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing, and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components, or an equivalent qualification
* Full, valid driving licence
