We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Social Work professionals to join our client's Multi-Agency Safeguarding team on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates at all levels from Social Worker through to Advanced Practitioner.
This team plays a vital role in safeguarding children by working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking an office-based role where travelling on visits will not be required, a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexibility in their role.
Your new role
* Conduct thorough assessments of safeguarding referrals.
* Collaborate with partner agencies (e.g., police, health services, social care) to gather and share information.
* Make informed decisions on the level of risk and appropriate interventions.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cases.
* Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to the development of safeguarding plans.
* Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies.
What you'll need to succeed
* Varied post-qualification experience of working in children's social care services
* Experience of and commitment to successful partnership working with statutory, voluntary and third sector partners to safeguard and support CYP and their families
* Ability to work at pace in sometimes challenging and emotionally sensitive situations
* Well-developed assessment and analytical skills with the ability to navigate and interrogate data to make well-reasoned and evidence-based decisions
* Ability to communicate clearly and calmly with individuals, families and professionals
* Proven ability to de-escalate situations
* Proven ability to support and collaborate effectively with team members and other partners
* Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
