Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results People: Proofread own and peers’ written work with high quality assurance skills following Granted Best Practice. Provide constructive feedback to peers. Lead data gathering and analysis and contribute to report writing and preparation within the team. Identifies appropriate resources to get the job done, assigning tasks to others as needed. Client: Work closely with the client to set expectations, provide feedback and updates, and where applicable, chase for information. Gather information from the client efficiently, summarising and playing back to check understanding Manage the numerical aspects of grant applications and advise clients on suitable adjustments to costings, revenue projections etc. Take the project lead role on applicant projects or own specific deliverables on more complex projects. Understanding of where client is in terms of product/business maturity and appropriateness of fund to client. Value: Support the production and delivery of high quality and compelling funding applications that succinctly capture and clearly present complex information in a written form. Build the ability to present innovative solutions for clients, based on increasing market awareness. Identify appropriate research requirements in projects, working with Junior Consultants in the team to deliver this research. Knowing how to rapidly adapt copy from other locations and re-purpose. Understand the importance of managing projects to time and budget in line with the commercial model and delivering ROI to clients. Use appropriate tools and techniques to deliver results and projects according to timeframes and budget. Education and Experience: 1 year or more previous consultancy experience, or equivalent. Confident technical writing ability and ability to be the lead for client interaction. An ability to research and be a quick learner is also essential. Computer Skills: Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, Google Document Suits. Certificates and Licenses: None Supervisory Responsibilities: Some responsibility to support junior staff with their learning and taking the lead at times in specific projects. Work Environment: Standard indoor working environment. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at desk. Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone. Independent travel requirement: 5-10%
