This job vacancy would be working withing their Supported Living Service for Young Adults with Learning Disabilities and additional complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Supported Living Team Leader, you will be a key player in ensuring that young adults receive the best possible care and support as they transition into adulthood. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a person-centred environment that enables everyone to achieve their personal goals.
8. Assist the Care Manager in the daily operations of the supported living service.
9. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Support Workers and Senior Support Workers, ensuring high standards of care.
10. Conduct staff inductions, supervisions, and ongoing professional development, including supporting team members in achieving their QCF qualifications.
11. Oversee health and safety practices within the service.
12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and care records.
13. Participate in regular sleep-in duties, waking nights, and on-call responsibilities as required.
14. Support young adults in their transition from education to independent living, promoting life skills and independence.
Criteria
15. Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care or equivalent qualification.
16. Proven experience in a supervisory or team-leading role within a social care setting.
17. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
18. A genuine passion for mentoring, guiding, and inspiring a team.
